After a wait, the result of the Lok Sabha election has been announced today. The fruit of the seven phases of election has appeared before the people of this huge democratic set up amid much hue and cry as who would see the zenith and who would bite the dust!
At the crack of dawn, people literally finished their assigned chores and stayed glued to the television screen. The counting began at 8 in the morning and with the flow of time, the status of the winners and losers was proclaimed with solemnity! The streets were depeopled. The sun appeared to be beating down more on the earth. A cord of unwavering excitement was sharply evident as there was no talk, but a silent wait for the results!
And the results came out with NDA alliance topping the list followed by other runner ups! Infact it is worth mentioning that the exit polls forecast their return a couple of days in almost all the esteemed dailies of the nation.
A few days later, the coronation of the chosen ruler will take place amid plethora of promises, oaths and lots of pomp and splendour. But after this grand show of Indian Polity, how we are going to be benefitted in the long run! Will Modijis's cabinet be able to live up to our expectations or be the ruler to judge without any justice?
Questions like above will pop up and the answers will not always be a fair deal! Still the show must go on. After all, we are like marionettes dancing to their curvy tune, trying to script our own destiny when such demigods have a different plan to frame and execute!!
