Love
dot the air!!
Gifts purchased,
ignoring the cost,
counting the timeless affection.
I lost him decades ago,
memories -
bitter, sweet and sour
deluge the soul!
Sorrow came upon him,
grief took its turn,
trauma showed its fangs,
but was unmoved,
unfazed!
Unlikely
the strength was infused,
reminded of the work,
I had to complete in his absence!
Yet this hour
snuggles between
the solitude
and dejection!
Void :
Unfathomable,
Unbearable
Unbeatable!!
