The morning melted into a lazy afternoon. A sense of enchantment worked in me. A sense of mellowed delight as well as onus worked in me. I, without any further thought reached my spot. The counter was not thronged with people. Purchased the tickets briskly and awaited the arrival of my Sir. Although the plan was framed quite a few days ago yet it took sometime to transfigure into reality.
We reached the station on time. The time ripened. The train chugged in indolently on that sun soaked breezy morning. The compartment was almost empty except a few souls! Both of us bagged a window seat. The train began to move. Slowly it enhanced its celerity. Faster than Fairies. Faster than Witches. The green lush fields, the gurgling water, the slums at the corner, the row of trees and above all the pristine purity of nature captivated our heart and soul. We had some crispy snacks to boost up our tenacity to continue with the journey. Time fleeted away amid a light tete -e- tete. However, I couldn't restrain myself from shooting a video and a few still pictures, accompanied by a voice over to get the stuff shared on social media. Innumerable curious questions were thrown at me. I replied them , but in the manner I wanted!
After a couple of hours we reached the spot, far from the urban delight! The shop was open. The emerald was purchased and tested in a nearby authorised laboratory to obtain the certificate of perfection! Everything moved in the way we deserved. The hungry soul is always an angry soul. To indulge in gastronomical delights, we had a sumptuous lunch in a hotel near to the station!
Gradually the hands of clock dictated the time to make a journey to the roots anew. However, we had to wait for nearly an hour for the evening train. The seats by the window were managed. Tired sinews and the drowsiness kissed our eyelids!
The sun inclined at the west. The moon clung to the heaven. A star spangled clear sky. The greenery was lost. The hustle bustle was heard. The rough terrains of the city life appeared again. We aligted, reached the college gate. Sir went inside to log out as it was a part of the formal assignment! We took a fresh walk towards the Central metro station to board the train and reach our abodes safe and sound.
After many days I had such a long journey by local train. Oodles of fun, grains of ecstasy and shades of experience amassed to make our day!!
