No body exactly knows the root of April fool, yet the day is observed amid fun and frolic and with a little bit of mischief on 1st of April every year. It seems as if people are on wait to befool someone of their own choice and much to the ignorance of the victims. On the contrary, even if there is a presence of alertness, it is really very difficult to assume the path through which you could be befooled and much to your embarassment!
We all remember the childhood pranks made on one another. The fun we used to share is still far better than the bitter jokes. But hardly there was a tendency to play cruel jokes on others which the people love to do without any concrete purpose such as inviting someone to the dinner party but leaving the house locked, sending a gift hamper to a close pal and when the latter opens it up, his or her hair stands on the skin or the blood seems to freeze at the initial sight of a spring snake( assuming it to be real) or for that matter a birthday party is organized, the friends are invited but there is no celebration as the birthday guy has played a cruel jest on the rest. At times the jokes take the contour of either a strong dislike or hatred, making the friendship into a bitter sensation of life and so a little care is to be taken before embarking on this journey of jokes and pranks!
A few days ago the carnival of colours won the heart of millions and so it can be easily hoped that this day will also maintain the codes of softness, keeping the motto of hurting others in the name of jokes at bay! Years before there was a song on April Fool by Rafi Sahab, but the same song wont serve the purpose today as the high definition lights and cameras will never permit to do so!!
